Tecnoaprendo: A computer programming club for children from the age of 5 years, the teacher is Spanish with basic English. For more information, please visit their website: www.tecnoaprendo.es The payment is paid monthly by direct debit. Contact email address: [email protected]

Aloha Maths: A program for children from the age of 5 years and upwards demonstrating Math in an alternative way! Please visit their website: www.alohaspain.com for more information and inscription can be done online. This class will be taught in the English language. The payment is paid monthly by direct debit.

Mini & Junior Yoga: Miss Laura is a qualified yoga instructor for children and is very excited to start a program here at BIC for children from the age of 3 years to 11 years. We hope that this club will be successful, whilst she hasn’t stipulated a minimum number of students, in order for the children to enjoy this activity we would need atleast 3 children. The class will also be in Spanish, so for parents looking to improve their child’s language skills – what better way! The fee for this activity should be paid directly to the instructor. 360 Sports Club &Tennis Club: A sports club run by Matthias Neubert (a professional tennis coach and trainer) focusing on sports training and skills. The club will include tennis, football, basketball, yoga, athletics and sports conditioning. The program and cost is to attend twice per week. Sailing Club: The Puerto Cala Nova have again offered the popular sailing classes during the Spring and Summer term, children have in the past enjoyed this wonderful experience. Due to requests from staff and parents we are also offering the sailing club to adults. There is a minimum of 6 people needed for the sailing classes. For more details and information you can contact Melanie or Malu (who speak fluent English) by email: [email protected] or you can pop down to their offices to see them. The fee for this activity should be paid directly to the instructor.

Gymnastic Club: Francesca Fox is a professional gymnast who has competed in the Olympics and Commonwealth Games. She now runs a gymnastic club in the Gymnasium at the BIC Sa Porassa Campus and the students of BIC San Agustin are invited to join the club from 4.30pm - 5.30pm. Just come along and join in! The fee for this activity should be paid directly to the instructor.

Homework Club: This will be supervised by a member of staff and is free of charge. It is for students from Year 3 to Year 6 and exclusively for children to complete homework or request assistance with their homework.

Martial Arts Club: : Run by Anton Llewelyn, a qualified martial arts instructor from the UK with several years of experience. This is a popular club for both boys and girls! Please note that children can achieve accreditation in this club. The fee for this activity should be paid directly to the instructor.

Ukulele and Singing Club: We are very pleased to introduce Marisol Sanchez Navarro to our school, aside from her Ukulele and singing talents, she is also a ballerina, choreographer and stage/film actress. This year the club will start on the 2nd October and there must be a minimum of 6 students The fee for this activity should be paid directly to the instructor.

Introduction to Musical Language: : Barbara Biblioni is a highly qualified music teacher who has studied in London, Madrid, Barcelona and is currently a Piano Professor at the Conservatory Music Academy here in Mallorca. Students will learn the basics of music, like the musical notes and rhythms and they will practice with Orff music instruments and singing. The lessons will be half practical and half theoretical. They will work with English and Spanish material. All knowledge can be applied to both the English and the Spanish curriculum and will be useful for any instrument the student might choose in the present or in the future. The fee for this activity should be paid directly to the instructor

Kitsune: We are very excited to introduce this wonderful new Early Years stimulation program, addressed to children from 3 to 5 years old. Kitsune student learn by playing, focusing on manipulative mathematics, psychomotricity and cooperative games. The club needs a minimum of 8 students participating in order to run. The payment is paid monthly by direct debit.

German Club: This is run by Miss Anne Leohold, a native German speaking with teaching experience, who also provides German Classes in the school as part of the curriculum for children from Year 3 to Year 6. The fee for this activity should be paid directly to the instructor.
