Extra Curricular

These are the activities currently on offer:

German​ ​Club:​ This is run by Miss Kerstin, a native German speaking with teaching experience, who also provides German Classes in the school as part of the curriculum for children from Year 3 to Year 6.

Tecnoaprendo:​ A computer programming club for children from the age of 5 years, the teacher is Spanish with basic English. For more information, please visit their website: www.tecnoaprendo.es

Chinese​ ​Language:​ This activity is for the older students only (Year 3 to Year 6) and is taught by Miss Sayo, a native in Japan and fluent speaker of Mandarin.

Aloha​ ​Maths: A program for children from the age of 5 years and upwards demonstrating Math in an alternative way! Please visit their website: www.alohaspain.com for more information. This class will be taught in the English language.

Mini​ ​Yoga:​ Miss Andrea is a qualified yoga instructor for children and is very excited to start a program here at BIC for children from the age of 3 years to 5 years. We hope that this club will be successful, whilst she hasn’t stipulated a minimum number of students, in order for the children to enjoy this activity we would need atleast 3 children. The class will also be in Spanish, so for parents looking to improve their child’s language skills – what better way!

360​ ​Sports​ ​Club:​ A sports club run by Matthias Neubert (a professional tennis coach and trainer) focusing on sports training and skills. The club will include tennis, football, basketball, yoga, athletics and sports conditioning. Children must attend twice a week and they can choose which sessions they would like to do - for example 2 mornings a week, 2 afternoon sessions a week, or 1 morning and 1 afternoon.

Sailing​ ​Club:​ ​The Puerto Cala Nova have again offered the popular sailing classes during the Spring and Summer term, children have in the past enjoyed this wonderful experience. Due to requests from staff and parents we are also offering the sailing club to adults. There is a minimum of 6 people needed for the sailing classes. Swedish​ ​Language​ ​Club:​ ​Due to parents requests we are delighted that Miss Cristina (a native Swedish teacher) will join us on a Monday afternoon to offer this club where children will enjoy a variety of activities in Swedish
